Super Bowl LV is right around the corner, with theTampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs set to meet on February 7 at Raymond James Stadium. Obviously, there’s a lot of animosity in the air.

As you could expect, there has been some trash-talking between both fan bases and some back-and-forths on social media. That’s normal considering we’re on the verge of the most important game of the NFL season.

Nonetheless, besides what the fans are saying, it seems like we could be witnessing a bit of a feud in the gridiron as well between two wide receivers: Tampa’s Scotty Miller and Kansas City’s Tyreek Hill.

Scotty Miller Says He Could Beat Tyreek Hill In A Race

The thing is that, when asked about Hill’s speed, Scotty Miller took his hat off to him but still claimed that he could beat him in a race, remembering he used to run track in high school and is pretty fast himself:

“Tyreek is unbelievable, super quick, unbelievable talent. But, if we’re talking about a race, I’ve got all of the confidence in myself going up against anybody,” the 23-year-old wide out said on the Dan Patrick Show.

Tyreek Hill, Patrick Mahomes Respond To Scotty Miller

‘Cheetah’ isn’t the one to take those kinds of comments lightly and you bet that he’s got him on his list now, but he took the high road and was classy about it on social media, while his quarterback Patrick Mahomes also had his back:

“Hell of a player, good for him,” Hill said, while Mahomes added “That’s an interesting take, you gotta have confidence in yourself, I’ll give him that. (…) he’s a fast dude, he’s a great receiver but I like my guy.”

At the end of the day, they’re both pretty fast guys and there isn’t a way to know who could out-run the other unless they actually decide to race – which would be great for the fans -. In all reality, I believe that winning the Super Bowl will give them the ultimate bragging rights and that’s all they should be thinking of right now.
