Tom Brady was a New England Patriot for almost 20 years and even though he left the team in the offseason, he will always be a Patriot. He is now part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and things are going pretty well for the veteran quarterbackduring the 2020 NFL season.
He’s doing great thingswith the Tampa BayBuccaneers but doesn’t forget about the team that was his home for almost two decades. Amid the Patriots’ bad season, Brady sent a message to the franchise and his fans, wishing them nothing but the best during this hard time.
This season didn’t start well for the Bucs, who had a 3-2 record at some point, before entering a 3-game winning streak to sit at 6-2 now, as the leaders of the NFC South. It’s been the opposite for New England, who have lost six games and won two so far.
Tom Brady sends a message to his former team
Brady wished his former team all the success in the world, although the relationship between them wasn’t the best, which prompted the 6x Super Bowl winner to leave the organization the past offseason in one of the biggest stories in the league.
“I wish everybody the best all the time,” Brady said, via Ben Volin of the Boston Globe. “I don’t ever wish for anyone to not perform at their best.”
TB12 doesn’t seem to have any bad blood towards his former team and he’s actually rooting for them to succeed. They wouldn’t face each other until the SuperBowl anyway. Brady is still one of the best QBs in the league, playing at a high level even at 43, something unthinkable for most athletes of any sport.
This man has shown over and over that he’s not normal and he’s actually leading the Bucs to be one of the best squads around the league. Brady is just different and nobody knows when he will stop playing at a high level.
