Kylian Mbappe will continue to make the headlines as long as he doesn’t sign a contract extension with PSG. Last summer, Real Madrid made a series of late bids trying to land him before the transfer deadline, but the Ligue 1 side rejected all of them.

However, Paris Saint-Germain could lose control of his future over the next few months as the French superstar’s deal expires at the end of the season. And it is believed that theLa Liga giants will finally sign him when that happens.

But there’s still a long way to go forJune 2022. And, as long as Mbappe doesn’t sign a pre-contract agreement with other club,Paris will have time to tie him down to a new deal. In order to do that, they’ll have to satisfy at least one condition from him.

Mbappe reportedly has at least one condition to continue at PSG and reject Real Madrid

It seems really uncertain how the Mbappe saga will unfold by the end of the 2021-22 campaign. PSG still have a lot to play for this season with a star-studded roster including the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar.

But the club is also concerned about Mbappe’s contract expiration date, so it remainsa big topic regardless of the time of the season. According to Calciomercato, if Kylian Mbappe signs a new contract with Paris, he’ll want to add a clause that lets him take part in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

For those who need a bit of context here, PSG had previously forbidden him, Neymar, and all their players from participating at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. So, Mbappe hasn’t made up his mind yet regarding his next club, but he’dbe sure of one thing: he doesn’t want to be prevented from playing his first Olympics.
