Juventusannounced that US midfielder Weston McKennie has been infected with the coronavirus. Thus, the Serie A championswill go into quarantine now.

“In compliance with the regulations and the protocol, the team entered into fiduciary isolation this evening. This procedure will allow all persons negative to the controls to carry out regular training and match activities, but will not allow contact with people outside of the group”, Juve said in an official statement, before adding that they are in’constant contact with the competent health authorities’.

McKennie, who joined the Italian side in August, is the first American to play for them. So far, he hasplayed two official games and managed 147 minutes on the pitch in Serie A.
