Tokyo 2020 Paralympics: How many US athletes are in the 2021 Paralympic Games?
One of the big names in all editions and versions of the Paralympic Games is the United States. They do know how to win gold, silver and bronze medals. For the Paralympic Games the U.S is expected to be the most dominant country in the medal table.
The country of the stars and stripes, the United States, has a large group of athletes for the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. It is a select group of young people, men and women willing to do anything to win medals for the nation. The United States is emerging as one of the great favorites to win all the gold in its path.
The official number of athletes representing the United States at the Paralympic Games is 242. Only four countries, apart from the U.S., bring more than 200 athletes to this edition of the Paralympics: Brazil, Japan, ROC and UK. But beyond the quantity, what matters is the quality.
United States are the big winners of the Paralympic Games in both versions, Summer and Winter.Since 1960 the domain has been total by the United States. 847 gold medals, 778 silver medals and 742 bronze medals. This year could be as epic as any for the U.S. team.
