Being the son of an NBA legend comes with plenty of perks. You get to hang out and grow up around other stars, learn from their games, and even know them on a personal level.
That’s the case with Kiyan Anthony, who will follow in his father’s footsteps and, like Carmelo Anthony, try to lead the Syracuse Orange all the way to a National Championship.
Anthony grew up around the likes of Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, and LeBron James. However, none of them are his favorite players. Instead, it’s actually Paul George.
Kiyan Anthony says Paul George is his favorite NBA player
“That’s been my favorite player since a long time,” Kiyan said in a recent interview. “I just look up to him. I feel like I have some similarities too. I just love the way he play.”

Standing at 6-foot-5, Anthony is the No. 1 player in the state of New York, the No. 7 shooting guard, and the No. 35 player in his class, and he’s projected to be a top selection in the 2026 NBA Draft.
