Aaron Judge has emerged as one of the brightest stars for the New York Yankees early in the season. Tuesday night’s win over the Baltimore Orioles served as another reminder of his elite performance. However, the victory was somewhat overshadowed when one of Judge’s teammates left the game, sparking concern among fans.

With an 18–12 record, the Yankees remain in strong contention as the MLB regular season unfolds. Although the team has experienced some inconsistent results, they’re relying on the hot streaks of key players like Judge to maintain momentum through the early part of the campaign.

Not every player has found their rhythm, though. Jazz Chisholm Jr., who exited Tuesday’s game against Baltimore, has struggled to start the year. He leads the team with 39 strikeouts and has yet to deliver the expected production at the plate.

Following the game, Chisholm Jr. addressed the media about his early departure and offered a candid explanation. “It was not time to risk it all. It’s April and we’ve got a lot of baseball left,” he said. “It’s better to have three days off than six weeks out. I trust my coaches and my teammates, and they told me to leave the game.”

I feel pretty good. I know my body, and most of the time I can tell if something’s wrong,” Chisholm Jr. told reporters. “The only thing I know is they’re going to check my right oblique to make sure there’s nothing more going on.”

Chisholm Jr. added that he felt discomfort during his first swing of the game. After notifying the coaching staff, he was advised to step out and rest for the remainder of the matchup against Baltimore.

Judge’s big game helped Yankees power past Orioles

While Chisholm Jr. exited early, Aaron Judge stole the show at the plate. The Yankees star went 2-for-3 with a home run, an RBI, and three runs scored, helping New York cruise to a dominant 15-3 win over the Orioles.
