Kevin Durant has never shied away from controversy. The Brooklyn Netssuperstar is the kind of person who won’t hesitate to speak his mind, regardless of who he’s talking to, and that’s one of the main reasons why he’s been so polarizing around the NBA.

Durant is quite active on social media. He’s engaged in countless infamous back-and-forths with fans, current and former players, and was even caught using fake ‘burner’ accounts to call out his former teammates.

This time, however, the two-times Finals MVP took to Twitter to discuss a not-so-serious matter, discussing who’d win between Godzilla and Kong after watching the trailer of the movie set to release on March 25.

Kevin Durant Says Godzilla Would Easily Beat Kong

“I can’t see Godzilla losing this matchup….” KD started.

“From the trailer, Godzilla was wreaking havoc In the water and on land. This looks like a landslide,” the former MVP added.

“As soon as the god opens his mouth it should be a wrap…pause,” Durant assured.

“I also heard that Godzilla is originally 984 ft tall and they had to make him 300 feet tall to make this an even matchup,”The forwardreplied to a fan that claimed that it wasn’t the true Godzilla.

“He definitely needs to be load managed. He’s been at it for a century,” Durant concluded.

Clearly, the former Scoring Championis a big fan of Godzilla and doesn’t feel like a giant gorilla is going to be a tough rival for him, and he will go the distance to defend and explain his stance on this fight.

Also, this might as well be a publicity stunt for the movie, as Durant is tied to the Elite Media Group that shared the trailer. Needless to say, if that was his intention, he had plenty of success.
