Regardless, the league has opened the voting for the 2021 All-Star Game. In recent days, it’s been reported that they’re studying the possibility of holding the game at a different location, with Atlanta looking like a very good option to receive the big event. Whether they do it or not, they already opened the voting and plenty of fans don’t know how the process works, the important dates and more details about this. It’s time to go through everything you need to know about this voting, which could actually translate into players taking the court next month.

2021 NBA All-Star Game Voting: How fans can vote

The NBA has announced three ways to vote this year for fans. They will have around four weeks to cast their votes and decide what players will be All-Stars this season along with the media and players themselves. That said, they listed three options:

NBA.com voting page at vote.NBA.com: Fill out one full ballot per day (per day is defined as once every 24 hours) on vote.NBA.com from a desktop or mobile browser. Fans can select up to two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference when choosing starters.

NBA App: Access the ballot and vote through the NBA App, which is available on Android and iOS. Fans can fill out one full ballot per day by selecting up to two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference when choosing starters.

Twitter: Tweet, retweet or reply with a hashtag of an NBA player’s first and last name (#FirstNameLastName) or Twitter handle, along with the hashtag #NBAAllStar.  Each tweet may include only one player’s name or handle.  Fans may vote for 10 unique players per day from Jan. 28 – Feb. 16.

When the 2021 NBA All-Star Game will be played?

So far, the NBA has released half of the calendar for this season. They will take the traditional All-Star break on March 4 and will return to action one week later. This could be a good option for them to host the league after rumors suggested that they’re trying to save the game this season, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
