The Golden State Warriors have been making a strong comeback since Jimmy Butler joined the team, but their recent loss to the Denver Nuggets highlighted a growing concern regarding Stephen Curry’s performance. While the 114-105 loss to the Nuggets wasn’t disastrous, it raised questions about Curry’s current state. With Butler contributing alongside Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga, the focus remained on Curry’s struggle to maintain his usual high level of play.

With the regular season winding down, the Warriors are eyeing a playoff spot. It’s crucial that their key players, especially Curry, remain healthy and available as the race for postseason positioning tightens.

Despite the promising outlook, Kerr offered a candid take on Curry’s condition after the loss to Denver. “He’s tired. He’s been carrying us for over a month, and it’s been incredible, but he’s tired,” Kerr said. “We’ve got to get him some rest. You can see it—he doesn’t have his usual energy right now.”

With Curry potentially sidelined, fans are looking to Jimmy Butler to take the reins during the upcoming stretch of games. Butler, who has had ample time to rest after his suspension with the Miami Heat, is expected to lead the charge. Additionally, Draymond Green is anticipated to step up as a leader while Curry is recovering.

In a separate incident, footage surfaced on social media showing Kerr visibly frustrated during a game against the Denver Nuggets. The head coach appeared to be upset, gesturing animatedly with his hands.
