Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for a new season where they will seek redemption. Undoubtedly, one of the big question marks is how Travis Kelce will perform at 35 years of age.
Nevertheless, the team’s general manager, Brett Veach, warned that despite being in the final stage of his career, the tight end will show why he is a legend, demonstrating that postponing retirement was the right choice. This all came during an interview with the Kansas City Star.
“You’ll see Travis have more of an impact. Maybe it’s not in production, but it’s the offense overall, which is much different than in the past when it always kind of ran through Kelce.”
Is Travis Kelce retiring?
No. Travis Kelce has confirmed that he will not retire and will pursue another Super Bowl alongside Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, all signs point to 2025 being his final season in order to fulfill his contract.
Kelce has won three championships with the Chiefs and, according to multiple reports, the veteran has promised Andy Reid’s coaching staff that he will be in the best shape possible to dominate the league once again.
