Even though most people thought they'd be a borderline playoff team this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have proven his doubters that they're one of the strongest teams in the NFL right now.

Yes, they've had the easiest schedule in the league thus far and have mostly beaten teams with a losing record, but winning 10 straight games in the NFL isn't something many teams have done. Ever.

That's why a lot of fans and analysts are looking at the possibility of having a perfect season with a 16-0 record. Nevertheless, that's not what's going through Ben Roethlisberger's mind right now.

Ben Roethlisberger Says The Steelers Are Chasing Lombardis, Not Records

“We’re not chasing perfection in terms of a perfect 16-0. We’re chasing (Vince) Lombardis (trophies). That’s the most important thing for us,” Roethlisberger told Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Big Ben Knows The Steelers' Offense Has Been Subpar

The veteran quarterback added that even though their defense has been nothing short of spectacular, the offense still has plenty of work to do if they want to put an end to their Super Bowl drought:

“We got to put more points on the board. I know what the scoreboard says, but there were too many times we punted and didn’t do enough. Offensively, we’re happy we got the win, but we know we have to be better," Big Ben concluded.

The Steelers have the best defense in the league right now and feature plenty of offensive weapons, so Roethlisberger has a valid point. If they want to go the distance and prove their doubters wrong this season, they need to execute better.
