Deebo Samuel is no longer on the San Francisco 49ers roster, a move that surprised many. However, he holds no grudges against his former team, nor with Kyle Shanahan or John Lynch, who have known him for a long time.

According to a message Samuel posted on his personal X account, he said, “49ers know where I stand with them and it’s nothing but love.” He continued, mentioning his former head coach, “Love John and Kyle to death, no bad blood in any way, shape, or form.”

It appears, from Samuel’s message, that he left the 49ers completely satisfied with how he was treated: “They know I’m more than appreciative of everything they’ve done for me as a player and a man, nothing but love.”

For those who don’t know, Samuel will now play for the Commanders. Last season wasn’t his best with the 49ers, and that seems to be one of the reasons for his departure from the team he’s been with since 2019.
