Once again, the Buffalo Bills will aim to be major contenders next season in the NFL. For this, Sean McDermott wants to leave nothing to chance and is working to assemble the most competitive roster possible. The latest news reports the addition of a former teammate of Joe Burrow from the Cincinnati Bengals to Josh Allen‘s team.
Brad Robbins, who was set to play for the Bengals until the final days of September 2024, has reached an agreement with the Bills and will play in Orchard Park starting next season. The punter was cut by Cincinnati last October and had been waiting for an offer.
The news was reported by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, who revealed the arrival of the former Michigan Wolverines player to Sean McDermott’s roster through his X (formerly Twitter) account.
“Punter news: The #Bills have agreed to terms with former #Bengals P Brad Robbins, a 2023 sixth rounder, sources say,” the Insider reported via @RapSheet.

Evan McPherson #2 of the Cincinnati Bengals celebrates a field goal with Brad Robbins #10 of the Cincinnati Bengals during the first half against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium on October 01, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Robbins entered the league from the Wolverines. The punter was selected by Cincinnati in the sixth round with the 217th pick of the 2023 Draft. Now with the Bills, he will embark on a new adventure in the NFL, once again with a contending team.

Can the Bills make it to the Super Bowl this year?
Still fresh in the memory of Bills fans is that loss to the Chiefs, which deprived them of reaching the Super Bowl. They don’t want that image to repeat this season, which is why they are working to build the most competitive roster possible to face any opponent that crosses their path.
Fortunately for Sean McDermott, the fact that he has secured the stay of several key figures like Josh Allen and Christian Benford, among others, suggests that many of the great moments from last season are likely to be repeated.
Although the upcoming draft is getting closer, the Bills don’t have a high pick to select a standout talent from College Football. However, this sport has provided plenty of examples of players who have stepped up, even when chosen much later.
It will be a matter of waiting a few days to finally see which position they will prioritize to further strengthen their roster, which boasts exceptional talent, as they aim to be contenders once again in the upcoming NFL season.
