NCAAF star makes something clear about joining Pete Carroll’s Raiders in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft is approaching, and one of the stars from the latest NCAAF season spoke about the possibility of being coached by Pete Carroll with the Las Vegas Raiders.

As the days go by, the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft draws nearer. The Las Vegas Raiders, now coached by Pete Carroll, have one of the highest picks in the first round, which could be used to select one of the top stars from the latest NCAAF season.

Ashton Jeanty was one of the standout figures of the past College Football season, posting exceptional stats during his campaign with the Boise State Broncos. His performance nearly earned him the Heisman Trophy, an honor that ultimately went to the versatile Colorado Buffaloes player, Travis Hunter.

With the passing of weeks, many set their eyes on him, especially after he declared himself eligible for the upcoming draft. In recent comments to Jay Trust of KTVB, the extraordinary running back spoke about his meetings with the Raiders’ personnel, hopeful that he could eventually join Tom Brady‘s team.

“Great organization,” Jeanty said. “They’ve got a few pieces and I know they could use a running back. So they’ve got that nice pick, number six, so, we’ll see what happens. It’s been great meeting with them, meeting with their running backs coach. So, it’s cool that he came out all this way to meet with me.”

As of today, the Raiders hold the sixth pick in the first round, which could potentially be used to select Jeanty for the upcoming season.

Mostert’s excitement after joining the Raiders

While the chance of Ashton Jeanty joining could further strengthen the Raiders’ running back department, Pete Carroll can rest easy knowing that in this free agency, he had the luxury of adding great talent to that position.

Coming from the Miami Dolphins, the experienced Raheem Mostert arrived in Las Vegas to join a team in the midst of rebuilding, aiming to compete in the AFC West. Regarding this new step in his career, the former 49ers player expressed his excitement.

“I’m already feeling good coming into this offseason, and I’m just super excited to showcase my work ethic and everything that I’ve done and worked up to thus far,Mostert said via ESPN.com.

When and where is the next NFL Draft taking place?

The 2025 NFL Draft will begin on April 24th, lasting until the 26th, and will take place in Wisconsin, specifically at Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.
