Shedeur Sanders joined the Cleveland Browns during the 2025 NFL Draft. However, he wasn’t the only quarterback the team selected, and he has now spoken about his relationship with fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel.

The Browns have a tough puzzle to solve this offseason. Initially, the team was expected to draft a quarterback with their first-round pick, yet the front office waited until the third round to select one.

Dillon Gabriel was selected 50 picks ahead of Sanders. According to many analysts, one of the two may be cut before the regular season, sparking a potential rivalry between the rookies that might not reflect their actual relationship.

According to Sanders, his connection with Dillon Gabriel is strong. The former Colorado standout believes people are trying to pit them against each other because of the competition, but insists there’s no bad blood between them.
