NFL News: Jalen Hurts’ star teammate sends strong warning to Eagles about 2025 Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have made several changes this offseason to strengthen their chances of becoming true contenders, and now one of Jalen Hurts’ star teammates has issued a warning to the Philadelphia Eagles about their division rivals.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the current Super Bowl champions. However, a star teammate of Jalen Hurts believes they might not be entirely safe in the NFC East, as he thinks the Dallas Cowboys should not be taken lightly.

In recent years, the Eagles have built a very strong roster that has allowed them to dominate the NFC East. Most recently, they won Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs, who are widely regarded as one of the NFL’s greatest dynasties in recent history.

On the other hand are the Cowboys, whose success has eluded them for almost the past 30 years. Nevertheless, they’ve made key acquisitions this offseason that many believe could significantly improve their performance.

There’s no doubt the Eagles are currently one of the most complete teams in the NFL. Head coach Nick Sirianni has assembled a star-studded roster, anchored by a talented quarterback in Jalen Hurts.

Hurts had faced criticism in the past for not being able to lead the Eagles to a championship, but the 2024 season changed that narrative, as he guided Philadelphia to a Super Bowl LIX victory over the Chiefs.

The Eagles have risen in the NFC East partly due to the Cowboys’ decline—once a dominant force in the division. The past three decades have not been kind to Dallas, but that could be about to change.

A.J. Brown, the Eagles’ star wide receiver, believes the Cowboys have made strong moves this offseason that could elevate their game. In particular, he pointed to the addition of George Pickens, who will pair up with CeeDee Lamb to form a dangerous wide receiver duo for Dak Prescott.

“I like that, I ain’t gonna lie,” Brown said about Pickens’ trade on his YouTube channel. We’re going to have to worry about them. For sure. I like the trade, I do like the trade. I like the competition, you know. I like George Pickens, I like CeeDee Lamb and they collab. It’s going to be exciting to watch because all that does is bring the best out of us. So, if we know how they’re coming, we are going to have to step it up.
