Since his arrival in the NFL, Lamar Jackson has unfortunately been unable to reach his ultimate goal: winning a Super Bowl. For this reason, one of the most experienced players in the Baltimore Ravens is ready to give it all to achieve the championship.
Since joining Baltimore in 2016 from Notre Dame, veteran Ronnie Stanley has yet to have the chance to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy. However, after signing a lucrative contract extension with the Ravens, the offensive tackle is determined to achieve his goal with the franchise.
In a recent press conference, the seasoned tackle for John Harbaugh‘s team revealed that he feels great about entering his tenth season, emphasizing that there is still unfinished business ahead.
“Yeah, for sure,” Stanley said via nbcsports.com. “We’ve broken so many records the last however many years, I don’t think we really care about it to be honest. Especially guys that have been here. The only we really care about is winning a Super Bowl. All that other stuff for sure is nice and all, but, yeah, definitely unfinished business. I don’t think anyone’s really happy.”

Lamar Jackson #8 of the Baltimore Ravens celebrates with Ronnie Stanley #79 after scoring an 8 yard touchdown against the Houston Texans during the fourth quarter in the AFC Divisional Playoff game at M&T Bank Stadium on January 20, 2024 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Stanley will remain with the Ravens for at least three more years after signing a $60 million contract extension, a move that took place just before he was set to become a free agent.

Hopkins confirms that Lamar is the main reason for his decision to join Ravens
DeAndre Hopkins is one of the fresh faces who will join Baltimore for the upcoming NFL season. The experienced wide receiver, who last played with the Chiefs and notably participated in the Super Bowl, admitted that one of the main reasons he chose the Ravens this offseason was to play alongside Lamar Jackson.
“I think Lamar being the leader of this team is part of the reason that I came here,” Hopkins said. “What he stands for and how he led this team and this organization to the playoffs in multiple years, and since he’s been here, just how he’s led any receiver group he’s had. I think that played a big part of me coming here for sure—Lamar being the quarterback.”
Can the Ravens make it to the Super Bowl?
Last season, the Ravens came very close to reaching the Super Bowl once again. For that reason, several experienced and accomplished players have joined the franchise to help achieve this goal once more.
The last time they became NFL champions was also under the leadership of John Harbaugh. In that instance, at the start of 2013, Baltimore defeated the 49ers 34-31, securing their second trophy in franchise history.
Will this be the season that finally crowns Lamar Jackson, Ronnie Stanley, and the rest of their teammates as champions? Only time will tell as the weeks unfold, but for now, they once again appear as serious contenders for the title.
