So, I don’t want to underscore how difficult it is to receive some of the verbiage from a play caller and have to regurgitate it to ten others that are waiting for it. Some elementary things, but important things nonetheless. The giving and receiving of information is a central component of leadership at that position.”

During an appearance on Monday’s episode of “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd, former <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nfl">NFL</a> quarterback Matt Hasselbeck suggested that May 27th might be the Steelers’ deadline for Rodgers. That’s when Phase 3 of the offseason program gets underway.

“I’m open to anything and attached to nothing,” Rodgers said. “I have a couple people in my inner, inner circle who are battling some difficult stuff. So, I have a lot of things that are taking my attention and have since the beginning of January away from football.



“That’s where I have been focusing most of my attention on. To make a commitment to a team is a big thing, whether you are a first-year player or 20-year vet. … Retirement still could be a possibility, but right now my focus is and has been and will continue to be on my personal life. Another similarity between their contracts is that neither Sanders nor Howard are eligible for a fifth-year option on their respective rookie contracts, since that possibility only applies to prospects who were drafted in the first round.

Sanders’ signing bonus with the Browns ($446,553) is also slightly higher than the one Howard gets with Tomlin’s <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/pittsburgh-steelers">Steelers</a> ($247,268). In annual average value, the difference continues to be small. While Sanders’ deal is worth $1.16M a year, Howard’s contract is valued at $1.1M per season.
