The Cleveland Browns have had their fair share of ups and downs throughout NFL history. And right when they were on the verge of becoming a contender, once again they couldn’t keep up with the rest of the league.
The Browns took a major gamble by trading for disgruntled superstar Odell Beckham Jr, who was the lone star in the New York Giants, knowing that he might as well want to get out of there as soon as he could.
Fast-forward to 2020 and the rumor is that Odell Beckham Jr has already played his last game as a member of the Cleveland Browns, as he never truly embraced the idea of playing there and the team may look to move him this offseason, according to Ian Rapoport.
Ian Rapoport Says Odell Beckham Jr Could Be Traded This Offseason
“The Cleveland Browns will play against the Las Vegas Raiders. Their first game without Odell Beckham Jr. He’s out for the season with a torn ACL. My understanding is that there’s a real possibility that he’s played his final game with the Cleveland Browns. Based on his contract, they cannot cut him (…) Beckham has never fully embraced Cleveland, never had a good rapport with Baker Mayfield and, as we saw last week, they may be playing better without him,” Ian Rapoport said.
We’ve seen how far players lose their value in the NFL and Odell Beckham Jr hasn’ttruly lived up to the expectations since leaving The Big Apple, so it’s unlikely that any other team will want to give up a lot for him.

Beckham has mightily struggled with injuries and inconsistencies over the past couple of seasons and even though his talent is undeniable, it seems like he hasn’t been entirely focused on football and he never truly wanted to be a part of the Browns.
