Ever since he made it to the NFLin 2014, Odell Beckham Jr has always been in the spotlight but not always for the best reasons. He’s one of the most talented and athletic players in the league and it seems like the bar is set too high for him.

Beckham has been constantly bashed and criticized by the media. First, for his antics in the sidelines when he played for the New York Giants. Laterfor underperforming during his first season with the Cleveland Browns despite being one of the highest earners in the NFL and now, even for some rumors about a bizarre fetish.

That’s why the former LSU standout spoke up ahead of the Browns Thursday Night Football game vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, claiming that he would love to have a way to fight back to those TV analysts who continuously pick him apart:

Odell Beckham Jr Fires Back At His Critics And TV analysts

“I think that’s something that I definitely struggle with – finding a way to combat analysts or the ones who get up on TV and who have a big platform to go and talk and say whatever and speak opinionated information as if it’s factual. Yes, I do want to get back at them. Yes, I do wish I knew the way, and I know one way is just straight winning,” Beckham Jr told Pro Football Talk.

Well, that’s what happens when you have elite athleticism and an impressive skill-set and do a lot of talking but not a lot of winning. OBJ is a polarizing player and the media is always going to have a field day with that kind of people.

Odell Beckham Jr Says He’ll Be Criticized Even If The Browns Win

Odell Beckham Jr is well aware of the fact that there’s just nothing he can do to stop the media from taking shots at him, even ifhe’s able to lead the Cleveland Browns back to the playoffs:

Even then, they’re going to have something to say and a problem. But once you win, there’s not really anything you can say. I’m not going to sit here and try and prove to you who I am. I am who I am. I am a good person. I’m a good dude,” Beckham Jr concluded.

At least, OBJ let his game do the talking for him in Week 2 after an underwhelming performance vs. the Baltimore Ravens. Last night, he had 4 receptions on 6 targets for 74 yards and a score. Hopefully, he’ll keep it going and silence his critics by doingwhat he does best: balling.
