Peyton Manning is, hands down, one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. But more than that, the future Hall of Famer has also made a name for himself along the years for being a bit of a comedian.

The former Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts' quarterback has even been a regular presence on NBC's Saturday Night Live and often enjoys pranking other athletes every time he's got the chance to do so.

That's why it didn't come as a surprise to see him taking a massive shot at the New England Patriots - his lifelong - rivals, when he took part in NFL's Monday Night Football broadcast between the New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders.

Peyton Manning Trolls The New England Patriots During Monday Night Football:

The older Manning brother was talking about how the communications between head coaches and quarterback are cut when the play-clock reaches 15, adding that it may not be the case for all franchises:

“Now certain teams, maybe in the Northeast, they don’t cut their lines," Manning said, obviously talking about the New England Patriots, who've been involved in countless cheating scandals over the years.

Spygate, Deflategate, Tuck Rule, Spygate 2.0, have been just a handful of the controversial stories Bill Belichick and the Patriots have been tied to, so Manning once again proved that he has no chill whatsoever.

Throughout his entire career, Manning was antagonized by Tom Brady. That's the biggest quarterback rivalry of modern history and while Peyton often got the best of him in the regular season, Brady thrived in the playoffs.

Brady and Manning have always had a close, friendly relationship and nothing but respect for the other. They went back-and-forth and dominated the National Football League for almost two decades. Now, we're looking forward to hearing many more of his jokes.
