Jakobi Meyers was one of several NFL players who had publicly requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, though his ultimate destination remained uncertain. Finally, the wide receiver reached an agreement ahead of the trade deadline, becoming a new key weapon for Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars’ depth chart has been updated following the trade. Since Travis Hunter was placed on IR last week, Meyers joins Brian Thomas Jr. and Dyami Brown as the top three healthy options at wide receiver, with Tim Patrick and Parker Washington running just behind them.

For his part, Geno Smith now has a depleted wide receiver room, as Meyers had been one of his primary targets. The Raidersā€˜ quarterback will now have to rely on Tre Tucker and Dont’e Thornton Jr. as his top options, with Alex Bachman, Tyler Lockett, and Jack Bech further down the depth chart.
