Qatar came up strong in the 2021 Gold Cup group finale defeating Honduras2-0 to get through to the quarterfinals while securing the top spot of Group D. With that result, Panama were eliminated of the competition. Check out the goals and highlights here.

Felix Sanchez Bas‘ men took control of the game from the very beginning and saw themselves at the lead quite early. Homam Ahmed, with a stunning finish,broke the deadlock and put Qatar in front. From then on, they kept on looking for the second one, but Luis Lopezsaved every attempt. However, Qatar secured all three points with a late goal to make it 2-0 and won Group D to reach the quarterfinals full of hope.
