It’s not a secret to anyone that if Messi ends up signing with Paris-Saint Germain, a large part of his decisionwillhave to do withhis relationship with the Brazilian forward. Since both of them played together at Barcelona, from 2013 to 2017, their friendship has been strong.

According to the French radio, RMC, Neymar offered Messi the No. 10 jersey to try to convince the Argentinian to play in PSG. However, Messi would have rejected it and thanked his friend for the gesture.
Messi has worn the No. 10 jersey in Barcelona since 2008, when he inherited it from Ronaldinho. Before that, the Argentinian also used the No. 19 jersey and the No. 30. Although bothnumbers are unavailable inPSG, some reports havestated these still are two possible options for him. The number 30 shirt could be given to him just like when he made his first team debut with Barca.Meanwhile, Ángel Di María has the No. 11, while Kylian Mbappé has the No. 7.
