Sergio Reguilon was one of the Tottenham Hotspur players who called the referee's attention to stop the game and seek medical help. Another Tottenham player, Eric Dier, also asked the team’s medical staff for help by telling him what was happening at the stand.

A few minutes after the medical emergency occurred, Tottenham made an announcement through twitter stating that the game had been stopped due to a medical emergency. But the emergency was dealt with quickly and the fan was stabilized by the medical team in the stadium.

The good gesture of Reguilon and Dier made fans on social networks mention the players to thank them for the good manners with the fan who needed medical help. Dier pointed out to one of the doctors where the emergency was and Reguilon spoke with the referee to tell him what was happening.
