Chelsea’s season has begun with Thomas Tuchel’s side on top of the Premier League standings, be it by one point, the UEFA Champions League champions are ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City. In the Champions League the Blues are second in their group after a win and a draw from their first two games.

Still Chelsea has been hit with various injuries during the course of the season, none more known than USMNT star Christian Pulisic who yet again has gone down with an injury and has only played 1 game the whole season.  Help could be on the way as Chelsea does not want to lose the opportunity to do a double this season.

According to The Sun, Chelsea has their sight set on a return of Eden Hazard, who left Chelsea in 2019 and has had a bout with injuries since joining Real Madrid. Here are details about a possible return of Eden Hazard to Chelsea.

Eden Hazard has only played 37 games for Real Madrid and scored 4 goals; he has not been a centerpiece of the Madrid midfield mostly due to injuries. Nonetheless Chelsea still values the Belgium international and could bring him back for a fee plus Reece James.

Hazard is said to be open to a move to Chelsea again, even though he does desire to play to his potential at Real Madrid, this season he has played in 7 games but has not scored. Roman Abramovich likes Hazard and would welcome him back with open arms as he could be a vital squad player for players like Pulisic who are often injured.
