Two weeks without losing for Oklahoma, which translates into total success after some harsh criticism against the team before starting the 2021 NCAA season. This will be the last game out of the conference before starting the long nine-week road against Big 12 rivals.

The first game of the season was a loss for Nebraska against Illinois 30-22 on the road, that loss was the team’s first in the conference (Big Ten). After that loss they won against Fordham 52-7 and Buffalo 28-3. Nebraska won’t play at home again until Oct. 2 against Northwestern.
