Tom Brady took a ‘jab’ at Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Mike Evans after the wide receiver gave away the quarterback’s 600th career NFL touchdown pass ball to a fan in the stands. The fan in question, Byron Kennedy gave the ball back, but not without getting something in return.
Byron Kennedy was given two signed jerseys and a helmet from Tom Brady, along with a signed Mike Evans jersey and his game cleats, $1,000 credit at the Buccaneers team store, and two season tickets for the rest of this season and next season. The ball is said to be valued between $500,000 to $900,000 according to Goldin Auctions.
Now on SiriusXM’s “Let’s Go!” podcast with Jim Gray, Brady issued a “warning” to Mike Evans, find out what Tom Brady had to say to Mike Evans the next time the quarterback has Evans in his sight.

Brady in a joking manner said, “I might accidentally not throw (Evans) another touchdown pass all season,” taking into account the sentimental value the ball has for Brady. That would be something to see, but unlikely given that Evans caught three touchdown passes from Brady in their rout over the Chicago Bears.
Evans has admitted that giving the ball away was an accident, and both teammates have shared a laugh over the matter, Evans was just in the zone and not even thinking about the stat when he gave the ball away. The chemistry and good nature of the defending champions gets put to the test against the New Orleans Saints over the weekend.
