According to Eduardo Rivas of Canal 4 of Uruguay, <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/report-orlando-city-would-spend-10-million-on-facundo-torres-20211228-0020.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Orlando City have placed their offer for Uruguayan midfielder Facundo Torres</a>foran estimated $10 million plus clauses, and the deal is set to be approved shortly. While fellow Uruguayan Brian Rodríguez of LAFC has a loan option to go to Inter of Porto Alegre in Brazil, although that move looks unlikely.

Ezequiel Barco and Atlanta United are rumored to have also received an offer to go on loan to Inter of Porto Alegre in Brazil. According to Merlo, neither the club nor the player are sold on a loan to Brazil, Barco is said to be waiting for the European window to close before making a decision.
Atlanta United wants to move Barco on but have found no takers for the once promising Argentine. Few clubs if any are willing to pay the price tag Atlanta United have set for Barco. According to sources Barco needs to be sold or loaned so Thiago Almada can come into the squad as a DP.

Merlo is also reporting that 19-year-old David Ayala of Estudiantes de La Plata is set to move to the Portland Timbers. Ayala is a midfielder who has played 33 games for El Pincha Rata and was a part of the Argentine U-17 squad. The move would be a transfer and not a loan.

In regard to soccer, Valeri leaves behind elevating the Portland Timbers from in the basement expansion team to contender, becoming a club idol and being the rock the team was built around for so many years. Valeri in his 9 seasons would lead the Timbers to 1 MLS Cup in 2015, 1 MLS is Back tournament in 2020, and would also play in 2 MLS Cup losses to Atlanta United and NYCFC. On a personal note Valeri is among the most accomplished players in league history: 2013 Newcomer of the Year, 2015 MLS Cup Most Valuable Player, 2017 Landon Donovan MVP Award, MLS Best XI: 2013, 2014, 2017, MLS All-Star: 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018.
In all aspects of his MLS career Valeri was a cut above the rest, his becoming ingrained in the city of Portland, giving 20-minute interviews in English, and his charity work be it with his family or with the club is everything a MLS executive, club, and supporters want out of their big signings. For Diego Valeri, it was never about a photo opportunity, it was just who he is, a giving person. A man who made no bones about the importance of his faith, Valeri frequently gave interviews in English and Spanish on how much his faith played a role in his professional and personal life.
One of the most visible levels of support was him and his daughter attending Portland Thorns, the sister club of the Timbers, games in support of Women’s soccer. Valeri, back in Argentina, gave an interview to DEPORTV talking about how sexist the game of soccer could be from within, especially in Argentina, and going to games with his daughter and supporting the women’s game is a step forward in breaking down old walls.
Diego Valeri, when his move to Lanus becomes official, will be heavily missed, a player who on the field provided quality that the league badly needed and off the field was a quality person, that at times in sports is few and far between.

Buksa, who formed a formidable partnership with Gustavo Bou in the New England attack, scored 16 goals in 31 matches in 2021.
Now a report out of Poland has Buksa in the sights of Italian Serie B side Pisa SC. According to Mateusz Borek, Buksa has an offer on the table from Pisa at an estimated $10 million.
“Adam was in Poland for a few days. He went to Boston; he flew yesterday probably to pack his things and return to Europe” Borek stated on the “Power of Futbolu” show. According to Borek, Buksa has had offers to go to England and the Middle East, but the transfer that is catching steam is a move to Pisa SC. The 25-year-old has been with New England for two seasons and has a total of 22 goals in 52 games. It was always rumored that MLS was a pitstop for Buksa and during his time in the league has attracted European suitors.
Pisa SC is top of the table in Serie B and pushing to get to Serie A next season and see Buksa as the icing on the cake to make that push forward. No one in New England has commented on the transfer rumor and it would be a blow to the Revolution to lose one of their main players after also selling Tajon Buchanan in August.

Born in Addison, Illinois, and having gone through the USMNT youth ranks, Gabriel Slonina is a full-blown professional with the Chicago Fire. He is the youngest goalkeeper to record a shutout in Major League Soccer history. Because of his height, Slonina is being touted as the “new Oblak”.
The Tuttosport report claims that Juventus will need to act fast to sign the young keeper as Manchester United is also sniffing around and looking for a goalkeeper to replace David De Gea. Slonina could run between $3- $5 million in transfer fee.

While <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/mls-transfer-rumor-lorenzo-insignes-contract-if-he-signs-with-toronto-fc-20211228-0018.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Toronto FC’s signing of Lorenzo Insigne looks all but done</a>, two other players are also close to signing with their respective clubs.
The players in question are RSL’s Albert Rusnák and Orlando City’s target Facundo Torres. Rusnák was the subject of a crazy 24 hours of rumors and supposed deals which have yet to materialize. Torres on the other hand continues to be quiet much to the dismay of Orlando City fans.

If you follow Twitter, Rusnák was off to the LA Galaxy, then to the Seattle Sounders, somehow made it to Saudi Arabia and late last night according to Callum Williams, Boca Juniors of Argentina were monitoring the situation of the RSL playmaker.
The possibility of Rusnák going to Boca Juniors is not out of the question, Boca can realistically pay his salary, but the player would be a harder sell for the Boca faithful. Keith Costigan reported on the same day that the Boca Juniors rumor started that Rusnák would play for the Galaxy. The Sounders are also interested in Rusnák, which means the player has options although a move to Los Angeles is very much in the cards, if the player and club can agree on the right price.

Out of Uruguay, Facundo Torres showed up to preseason with Peñarol, as the Uruguayan giants still expect Orlando City to pay a bit more than the reported $10 million for 70% of the player’s rights. Martin Charquero reported that the negotiations have stalled but are set to resume this week with an announcement coming as early asthis week or earlynext week according to a source. Torres’ family is pushing the club hard to accept the MLS team’s offer.

Robinson has reportedly come to the attention of Bundesliga and Premier League sides and the price is rumored to be around $6 million to $10 million in transfer fee. Now Felipe Cárdenas is reporting that while interest is there <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/abella-danger-attends-atlanta-united-game-jurgen-damm-posts-hilarious-TikTok-20210914-0012.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Atlanta United</a> has not received any concrete offers.
Robinson played a total of 26 games for Atlanta United in 2021 and has played 87 since his first season in 2017 scoring 1 goal. <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/soccer/atlanta-uniteds-ezequiel-barco-is-finally-playing-like-a-dp-20210921-0014.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Atlanta United</a> has various players on the transfer block but no information on a sale has been released.

Miles Robinson has not received a formal offer but there is interest, it looks like he will start the season in MLS, and Vice President Carlos Bocanegra stated Robinson would be back next year in December. George Bello had interest from Watford, but that deal looks to have cooled off. The club is also looking to move Ezequiel Barco but while there has been interest in the Argentine before, the transfer may be an issue as Atlanta United may get a lot less than previously thought.
According to reports the five stripes have already signed Argentine midfielder Thiago Almada from Velez Sarsfield for a record fee, the Argentine club announced the sale while Atlanta United, who are at 3 DP’s have not. Rumors have circulated that Almada’s ongoing sexual abuse case would not allow the player to enter the United States and the no sale of Ezequiel Barco would hamper the player’s arrival. All information regarding Almada’s eventual arrival to Atlanta has since cooled off as well.
