<a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/stephen-curry">Stephen Curry</a>‘s teammate has experienced a challenging season with the Golden State Warriors, but the team’s coach is confident in the key contribution he can make to their quest for the NBA championship. 



Kerr highlighted <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/andrew-wiggins">Andrew Wiggins</a>‘ importance to the Warriors and his ability to play a crucial role on the team. With the departure of Klay Thompson, Wiggins will have the opportunity to take on a more prominent role, contributing points and leadership.



Kerr remains optimistic about Wiggins’ future. Despite the challenges, he believes Wiggins is poised to return to his best. “I mean, I’ve only seen him the last couple of days since he got back in town, but number one, he looks physically really fit. I think he also looks — just speaking with him — he sounds very motivated and is very at peace,” Kerr told reporters on Thursday, via The Athletic’s Anthony Slater. 



“I think he’s in a place where he knows the last couple of years have been tough for a lot of reasons, and I think he is primed to get back to where he was a few years ago.” Kerr added.

Then again, Kerr also knows that it’s not always up to him, so he tries to be as transparent and honest with his players as possible when he knows they could be on the move:



“We try to recognize if guys are stressed out about it if their names are really being talked about,” Kerr said. “I’m always very, very honest with the players. I’ve had players over the years who I just share, very frankly, with them there is a chance that you’re going to get moved. It may or may not happen, but this is why.”

Wiggins had become a fan favorite and a big part of the rotation, but he’s lost his ground. Rookie Brandon Podziemski has been better, and Wiggins’ salary could be a valuable asset in any potential move.

As much as everybody would hate to admit it, Draymond Green has overstayed his welcome in the Bay area. His character issues have hurt the team too often this season, and he’s not making much of an impact on offense when he’s not creating for others.

Green is still an elite and versatile defender and a very intelligent player. Then again, it’s Jonathan Kuminga’s time to break out, and team owner Joe Lacob has made it loud and clear that he won’t trade him, so Green is now the odd man out.

Chris Paul’s trade value took a massive hit when he suffered an injury a couple of weeks ago. Even so, and even though he’s not to blame for the team’s struggles, it’s more than evident that he hasn’t done much to help with them either.

The Raptors aren’t going to compete any time soon, and they’re likely to part ways with Pascal Siakam, who’s been on the Warriors’ radar for years now. Once again, he’d have to be included in the deal for salary-matching purposes, and it would also make sense for him.

Kawakami is a reliable source when it comes to the Warriors, and it wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see that this is true. He’s averaging 12.9 points per game and shooting 29% from beyond the arc this season, and he even lost his starting job.



Wiggins played a significant role in the Warriors’ last championship run and became a fan favorite. But with the Dubs struggling to keep up with other powerhouses in the Western Conference, they could be forced to make an uncomfortable decision and just cut ties with him while they still can.

<h2>Andrew Wiggins Will Continue To Fight</h2>



“It’s different, different for sure,” Wiggins said. “It’s another thing I have to deal with. Whatever happens happens. Of course, I want to get back to my normal spot. But it could take time, who knows? I can’t really dwell on something that’s a decision made by somebody [else]. I just have to keep playing, keep staying aggressive, stay in the gym and just try to do the right things.”



Wiggins knows this change might not be permanent. He knows just how valuable he is to the team, so he’s determined to keep pushing and fighting to get his starting spot back.



“Anything can happen in this league,” continued the former No. 1 pick. I’m blessed to be here and if I want to get out of this little doghouse I just have to keep fighting my way out.”



Ironically, he’s coming off his best game of the season, scoring 25 with seven rebounds to help his team get a much-needed win over the struggling Portland Trail Blazers.



“That’s vintage Andrew,” coach Kerr said after the game. “That looks like the guy I know. He was aggressive. Confident. Took the shots that were there, attacked, made some good passes. I thought Andrew was just absolutely brilliant.”

“Those guys are not unrestricted free agents,”Myers said. “So we don’t need to do that on July 1, 2, 3, 4. We’re a long way from figuring out what Andrew wants and what his agent wants, but I do know what we want. We want to keep him and we’re going to make every effort to keep both those guys.”
