A series opener between the Chicago Cubs (9-13) and Chicago White Sox (9-13) is on deck Tuesday at 7:40 PM ET, at Wrigley Field. The starting pitchers are Michael Kopech for the White Sox, and Scott Effross for the Cubs.

The White Sox head into the matchup after a 3-0 victory over the Angels yesterday. Dylan Cease picked up the win after going seven innings without giving up an earned run on one hit, while striking out 11.

The Cubs won 2-0 in their matchup with the Brewers on Tuesday. Marcus Stroman went seven innings without giving up an earned run on two hits, while striking out five and claimed the win for the Cubs.
