A series opener between the Tampa Bay Rays (15-10) and Seattle Mariners (12-13) is on deck Thursday at 9:40 PM ET, at T-Mobile Park. On the mound for the Rays will be Shane McClanahan (1-2), matched up against the Mariners' Robbie Ray (2-2).

The Rays won 3-0 in yesterday's matchup against the Athletics. J.P. Feyereisen was the winning pitcher in the contest after throwing 1 1/3 innings without giving up an earned run on one hit, while striking out one.

The Mariners hit the field after losing 7-2 to the Astros yesterday. Matt Brash was the losing pitcher in the contest for the Mariners. He went three innings, giving up four earned runs on six hits while striking out three.
