The road has been far from ideal this season for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA. Currently sitting near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, Angel Reese’s squad will be looking for a win that can help them close out the regular season with some dignity — and shift their focus to what’s next with renewed energy.
While it may not be the sole reason the team currently finds itself near the bottom of the standings, a series of injuries to key players has certainly been a factor throughout significant stretches of the season.
Reese, a key piece in Tyler Marsh’s system, has been sidelined recently due to a back injury, though she is expected to be available and suit up alongside her teammates today.
According to Christian Conway of Winsidr, and later reported on ESPN.com, the former LSU star has been listed as probable, making it likely she’ll see some minutes on the court in one of the final games of the regular season.
