As the NFL2021 gets close, things keep on changing every day and even the most iconic players from certain franchises might be moving to new places. As the Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers saga is catching everyone’s attention,Julio Jones‘ unexpected statement regarding his future in the Atlanta Falcons is being the hot topic in the football community.

The famous wide receiver has spent his entire career in Atlanta and as the team struggled in the last seasons, it seems like it needs reconstruction soon. Besides, ever since it was reported that Jones requested for atrade in March, it looked like his time with the Falcons was done.

Even the organization’s general manager, Terry Fontenot, admitted he would probably be traded in the offseason. However, the player himself opened up about his future and may haveconfirmed his exit from Atlanta.

Following speculation on what was next for Jones’ career, Shannon Sharpe called the player during the Skip and Shannon: UndisputedTV show, and after being asked if he wanted to stay in Atlanta, his answer was clear: “I’m outta there, man.”

It remains uncertain whether he was aware of being on TV or not, but he also confessed to belooking forward to movingsomewhere where he could winand declined the possibility of moving to Dallas Cowboys as it doesn’t seem like the place to succeed.“I ain’t going to Dallas, man. Julio Jones has been selected by Atlanta with the sixth pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and had a great impact, becoming its leader in reception and receiving yards. He led the NFL in receiving twice (2015 and 2018) and gotselected to the Pro Bowl seven times while being named first-team All-Pro in 2015 and 2016.

Needless to say, the Falcons have had one of the greatest wide receivers in the past ten years. Still, neither the franchise nor the player is going through the best of times, and while the team is probably heading into reconstruction, Jones, 32, wants to win soon.
