Le’Veon Bell could be the happiest person on earth right now, as he could go from the worst team in the NFL to a team trying to contend for a Super Bowl berth after being released by the New York Jets.

Bell was disgruntled at New York as Adam Gase’s team continued to underperform until the team finally granted him a way out, not before paying him $28 million after just 18 games with the franchise.

It was pretty clear that Le’Veon wasn’t the same disruptive tackle-breaker he was during his days with the Pittsburgh Steelers but, to be fair, he never stood a chance considering how poorly coached the Jets were.

Now, the 28-year-old will have a chance to prove that he’s still an elite running back and that he’s able to handle the bell-cow role on a contending team, and, according to recent reports; he’ll likely choose between three teams.

Le’Veon Bell To Choose Between Dolphins, Chiefs, AndBills

“Le’Veon Bell currently plans to sign with one of three teams, per source: Dolphins, Chiefs, Bills. Barring change, Bell will decide among these teams as early as today. Steelers reunion unlikely at this point,”ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported.

Playing for the Miami Dolphins would make sense from a financial standpoint and he wouldn’t have any kind of competition whatsoever for the starting job, which would be good to showcase his talents going forward, plus having the incentive of staying in the AFC East.

Should he join the Buffalo Bills, he’d also have a shot to play the New York Jets in the AFC East plus having the incentive of playing for arguably the strongest team in the division. Moreover, neither Zack Moss nor Devin Singletary have been effective and he could take the starting job away from them in just a couple of weeks.

But, obviously, perhaps the wisest choice would be to sign with the reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs, as even though rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire has shown glimpses of greatness, the team is in win-now mode, and adding a proven veteran could only make them stronger.
