Tom Brady said that, in his new role as a broadcaster, he will not criticize Patrick Mahomes due to the great career the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has built. This all happened during an interview with Complex Sports.

“How can I throw shade at someone who’s as amazing as he is? I know what he’s been through. And I think the one position that I’m in now as a broadcaster, I do feel responsibility to tell the fans what I see and be honest and upfront about everything, but also realize that what these guys are doing on the field is extremely difficult.”

Mahomes is 29 years old and is in full pursuit of Brady as the most successful quarterback in history. Tom won the Super Bowl seven times, while Patrick has three rings, but with at least a decade left to play.

Who is the greatest quarterback in NFL history?

Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback in NFL history after winning seven Super Bowls. In addition, the legend achieved that feat with two different teams: the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, Brady understands that being in front of a microphone carries great responsibility, and that’s why he made it clear that he has the utmost respect for Mahomes and all players at the quarterback position.

“It’s a high level of skill. You’re looking at any of the 32 teams who have a starting quarterback out there. That guy is one of the best in the world at what he does. So, do they make the right plays all the time? Certainly not. By the way, neither did I. And I think you have to have this context and perspective. To me, it’s more about, let’s point out the greatness of these individual players. Have fun. Enjoy it. Entertain a little bit. And really try to educate people a little bit. That’s what I want to do on TV.”
