NY Giants RB depth chart for 2026 NFL season with Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr.

The New York Giants have names like Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr. on their running back room ahead of the 2026 NFL season. Will they add any more names?

The New York Giants have a young, hungry running back depth chart for the 2026 NFL season, with Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr. as their main backs. However, that could change in the blink of an eye.

The RB depth chart has Skattebo as the number one. He is then followed by Tracy. However, the experienced back on the roster is still there in the name of Devin Singletary. Eric Gray and Dante Miller are also on the roster.

This could all change massively if a certain Jeremiyah Love falls to their lap in the 2026 NFL Draft. If Love falls to number five, it’s very likely that the Giants opt to fall into the temptation of drafting him, despite RBs not being the priority. This could open trade talks for some of the other names in the room.

The Giants are moving everywhere

It’s also been reported that a Giants reunion with Odell Beckham Jr. is possible after the draft. This means the Giants are not solely watching how the draft develops, but also where opportunities open for them to do team-building moves.

John Harbaugh is basically trying to play all hands possible to improve the roster ahead of the start of the 2026 NFL season. After all, his arrival, joined by an exciting young roster, has made the Giants one of the teams to watch for next season.

The Giants could do a big mistake by drafting Love

While Love is a great talent, it’s not a necessity of the team. Drafting him could make them miss on a potential face of the defense, a Sonny Styles or a Caleb Downs of sorts. The Giants just traded their best defensive player in Dexter Lawrence.

Hence, that’s what they should focus on, defense. The offense might be addressed later in the draft, but the first picks should be oriented towards strengthening the defense. If not, it could prove to be a massive mistake for the Giants.
