The2022Liga MX Torneo AperturaRegular Season has wrapped up and now it’s time for the2022 Liga MXPlayoffs.Thebest four teams of the regular season and four teams that qualified from the Reclassification Playoffswill be playing the final phase to decide which team will be crowned as the champions of thefirst tournament of the season. Tolucabecame the first one to reach the finalafter eliminatingClub America. The defending champions Atlaswere eliminated, so this tournament will have anew Mexican league champions. The last phase of the 2022 Liga MX Torneo Aperturawill takeplace fromSaturday, October8to Sunday, October30, 2022. The Reclassification Playoffs matchups were one-legged matchups played at the highest-ranked team’shome stadium. From the quarterfinals to the finals, there were two legs of each matchup to decide which teams advanced to the next round.
Up to date, there are still 2 teamsin contention for the title. Toluca will play against Pachuca. Thematchups that will decide everything are set to takeplace in the last weekof October.
