Following a fantastic UEFA Champions League triumph a few months ago, Antonio Rudiger is already facing his last year of contract with Chelsea in 2021/22. Even though there's still a long way to go, the German center-back will have to make a big decision as he won't be lacking in offers.

Rudiger, 28, has joined the Blues nearly four years ago from AS Roma and has already made 150 appearances. Last season's UCL win was his highlight at Stamford Bridge so far, playing a key role in Chelsea's success.

He started every game of the knockout stages and had an outstanding performance in the final against Manchester City. But his future in London remains uncertain and, according to Sky Sports, two powerful teams would be monitoring his situation.

Having lost club legend Sergio Ramos for free this summer, the Merengues have filled his vacancy by landing David Alaba, who ran out of contract at Bayern Munich. However, Real Madrid could use another world-class center-back to boost their defense.

The English outlet mentioned Los Blancos are attentive to how the Antonio Rudiger situation at Chelsea unfolds, and should he not renew before January, they might consider beginning negotiations for a pre-contract.

Paris Saint-Germain have proven this summer that they do not necessarily need to splash the cash to make massive signings. They have done great business by landing the world's best Lionel Messi and superstars Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Georginio Wijnaldum all for free.

PSG were also mentioned by Sky Sports as an interested team in Rudiger. Although they seem to be stacked in every line right now, that hasn't prevented them from adding stellar signings to their roster before. We'll have to wait and see if Rudiger renews his deal before January or not, and in that case, it shouldn't be a surprise to see teams approaching him for a pre-contract.
