‘Noche UFC 306’ crowned Merab Dvalishvili as the new Bantamweight champion after a relatively easy victory over Sean O’Malley, making him a new fan favorite. Following his title win, Dvalishvili was recently seen celebrating with Jonathan “Bones” Jones at a club, marking his victory in style.

In the video, Jon “Bones” Jones shows up in the same club with Merab Dvalishvili, chanting his name, “Merab, Merab.” On the other hand, the UFC 306 champion posted on X (formerly Twitter), simply stating, “Thank you to the GOAT!” It’s worth noting that Jones last won a title in 2023.

Jon Jones is not retired from the UFC and currently holds the UFC Heavyweight Championship. He is also a member of the UFC Hall of Fame. Since 2011, Jones has consistently won and defended titles, originally as the Light Heavyweight Champion, until stepping up to the heavyweight division.

Merab Dvalishvili earned his first UFC championship, but he’s no stranger to big titles. In 2017, he won and defended the Ring of Combat Bantamweight Championship, defeating Sukhrob Aydarbekov and retaining it against Raufeon Stots.

Merab Dvalishvili’s Record

The Georgian fighter currently holds a record of 18 wins and 4 losses. His last defeat came on April 21, 2018, during a Fight of the Night event against Ricky Simón in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Dvalishvili’s win over O’Malley extends his victory streak, which began in September 2018. His current winning streak stands at 11 consecutive wins. Six of those victories have come in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he remains undefeated.
