<p>The<strong> Chicago Sky </strong>just took their point guard of the future. Following a strong bounce-back season with the TCU Horned Frogs, Hailey Van Lith is officially a <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/wnba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WNBA</a> player.</p>



<p>Notably, the former LSU star will now be joining forces with the often-controversial<strong> Angel Reese,</strong> one of the most outspoken players in the women’s basketball scene.</p>



<p>With that in mind, and considering that they used to be teammates in college, the new Sky star got brutally honest on her relationship<strong> and her thoughts on playing with Reese again. </strong></p>

<p>The Rutgers Scarlet Knights entered last season with high hopes and expectations. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to meet them, and they didn’t even make the <strong>NCAA Tournament.</strong></p>



<p>Even so, that didn’t take much of a toll on<strong> Ace Bailey’s or Dylan Harper’s </strong>draft stock. They’re both still projected to be among the first five players taken in the 2025 <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA</a> Draft.</p>



<p>With that in mind, and knowing that<a href="http://bolavip.com/en/topic/cooper-flagg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Cooper Flagg</a> might not be available, <strong>Utah Jazz </strong>analysts from SLC Dunk urged them to use their first-round pick to get Bailey.</p>



<h2>The Jazz need Ace Bailey</h2>



<p>“<em><strong>He is a guy that can get to his spot consistently, rebound the ball in traffic, throw it down in transition, help on the weak side on defense, and is somebody that has shown a lot of improvement throughout the year. </strong>I’ll admit I have been a tough critic when it comes to evaluating Ace this year due to his inconsistent play, but there really is a lot to love about a guy at his size, his age, his usage, his athleticism, with his shot diet numbers, and his rim protection — it’s pretty special, and I don’t want to get in trouble by over evaluating him like I have done with players in the past,</em>” read the report.</p>

<p>Of course, there’s no such thing as a perfect prospect, and Bailey isn’t the exception to that rule. There are some <strong>shot selection issues</strong>, and he’s not a willing passer.</p>

<p>Even if he does return, the<strong> Blue Devils</strong> will also welcome four new recruits next season. As such, he wants to make sure that they get started on the right foot as they enter this new chapter.</p>



<p>With that in mind, he went out of his way during a recent interview with FOX Sports to<strong> wish this new generation of Duke freshmen well and share some wisdom with them.</strong></p>



<h2>Cooper Flagg shares a piece of advice for Duke freshmen </h2>



<p>“<em><strong>I would say, just don’t be shy. Reach out to anybody on the current team and start building connections as early as you can.</strong> The earlier you can connect with the team and the coaches and really start making those relationships, it is really important in helping you buy in and understand the program,”</em> said Flagg.</p>

<p>He has yet to declare for the <strong>2025 <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/nba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBA</a> Draft</strong>, and while he’s firmly expected to be the first overall pick, it’s not going to be official until he finally submits his application.</p>



<p>In a recent interview with FOX Sports, the talented forward admitted that he hadn’t made up his mind just yet, adding that he <strong>would take his time before making a decision.</strong></p>



<h2>Cooper Flagg still hasn’t made up his mind about the NBA Draft</h2>



<p><em>“I’m just going through the process. Really, we haven’t had that much time to talk about it yet. I got the chance to come out here (Los Angeles) and take some time with myself and my family and take some time to reflect on the season I’ve had. <strong>I’m not in a particular rush</strong>. I’m just going through the process, going to talk with everybody I need to, and will make a decision on what’s best for me,</em>” he said.</p>

<p>Needless to say, the chances of Flagg actually returning to college next season seem to be quite slim. But until he declares for the NBA Draft and actually goes through with the process,<strong> anything is possible.</strong></p>

<p>As expected, UConn Huskies star – and now legend – <strong>Paige Bueckers </strong>has turned pro. More specifically, he became the first overall pick and will be heading to the <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/wnba" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WNBA</a> to play for the Dallas Wings.</p>



<p>This was far from a surprise, as Bueckers had been a top-ranked prospect for years now. Capping her collegiate career with <strong>a national championship</strong> only helped her case.</p>



<p>However, she knows she wouldn’t be able to do this on her own. That’s why, right after hearing<strong> her name called in the WNBA Draft, </strong>she made sure to give her teammates their flowers. </p>



<h2>Paige Bueckers credits her teammates for stellar college career</h2>



<p>“<strong><em>They changed my life,”</em></strong> Bueckers said. <em>“Those are my sisters, just extremely grateful for them. They mean everything to me. All that they’ve helped me get through. All the ups and downs, the highs and lows. They’ve seen every side of me and the love there is unconditional. I wanna cherish that relationship for the rest of my life and I wouldn’t be here without them.”</em></p>

<p>Bueckers has had to <strong>overcome a lot to get to this point</strong>, and she most definitely earned all the good things coming her way. Then again, this is a team sport first and foremost.</p>

<p>With a veteran coach at the helm, the <strong>Arkansas Razorbacks</strong> were expected to be one of the powerhouses in<a href="https://bolavip.com/en/college-basketball" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> college basketball</a> last season. However, things aren’t as easy in a conference like the SEC.</p>



<p>Even so, coach<strong> John Calipari</strong> was able to rally around his players, and following a complicated stretch in which it seemed that they weren’t going to make the tournament, they closed out the season on a high note.</p>



<p>Unfortunately for them, not even upsetting Rick Pitino and St. John’s was enough for them to get the job done in the following round. Following their loss to Texas Tech<strong>, the legendary coach was brutally honest. </strong></p>



<h2>John Calipari shares honest thoughts on end of the season</h2>



<p>“<strong><em>I feel like [expletive] right now, but this was as rewarding a year as I’ve had in all my years,”</em></strong> Calipari said.</p>

<p>Lowe shined for the Panthers last season. He scored 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. However, <strong>he shot just 37% from the field and 26% from beyond the arc.</strong></p>

<p>Then again, a lot of that also had to do with him doing <strong>most of the heavy lifting</strong> on offense. Needless to say, that’s not going to be the case now that he’s with the Wildcats. </p>

<p>Unfortunately, a collapse in the Final Four stage <strong>got in the way. Now, with <a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/cooper-flagg">Cooper Flagg</a>, Kon Knueppel, Khaman Maluach</strong>, and maybe even Tyrese Proctor entering the NBA, things will look different in Durham.</p>



<p>With that in mind, renowned NCAA analyst <strong>Jay Bilas</strong> shared his thoughts on the current state of the program and whether Jon Scheyer was the right guy to lead them back to the top.</p>



<h2>Jay Bilas still believes in Jon Scheyer</h2>



<p>“<em>Jon’s really smart, so I think they’re going to look at it for what it is,”</em> Bilas told Rich Eisen. <em>“They didn’t execute when they had to, and you look at, well, how do we do this better in the future?…</em><strong><em> I think Jon will handle it positively. Crushing blow, obviously, but he’s a competitor.”</em></strong></p>

<p>Of course, it’s never easy to bounce <strong>back from such a tough loss, </strong>and the narrative around the coach might start turning negative because of these kinds of shortcomings.</p>

With the win, the Huskers secured a $300,000 prize, prompting a clear message from head coach <strong>Fred Hoiberg</strong> regarding how the money will be distributed across the roster.</p>



<p>The Huskers failed to make both the Big Ten and <strong><a href="https://bolavip.com/en/topic/ncaa">NCAA</a></strong> Tournament during the 2024-25 season, registering a 21-14 record (7-13 in their Big Ten schedule). However, they ended the campaign on a very positive note after their championship in the postseason championship, founded by <em>Anschutz Entertainment Group </em>and<em> Fox Sports.</em></p>



<p>After securing the first ever Crown Tournament and the hefty financial prize, <strong>the Huskers will look to share the dividends evenly across the roster</strong>. On that note, Coach Hoiberg made a key statement.</p>

However, things are different now in college basketball because of the transfer era.</p>



<p>That’s why the <strong>Arkansas Razorbacks,</strong> just like all other teams, will look very different next season. Multiple players will pursue NIL deals and more playing time somewhere else.</p>



<p>With that in mind, Sportskeeda reported that they will lose three not-so-crucial contributors to the transfer portal next season: C<strong>asmir Chavis, Melo Sanchez, and Zvonimir Ivisic.</strong></p>



<h2>The Razorbacks will look very different next season</h2>



<p>Ivisic will join his brother at<strong> Illinois</strong>, while Sanchez tries his luck somewhere else after not getting much of a run in Arkansas. The same will be the case with Chavis.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, with something close to $10 million available in NIL money and a strong tradition, Jon Scheyer and the <strong>Duke Blue Devils </strong>could lead the race to get almost every prospect.</p>



<p>According to a report by Adam Zagoria, that could spell trouble for the UNC Tar Heels, as their lifelong rivals have now set their sights on one of their intended transfer portal targets: <strong>PG Xaivian Lee</strong>.</p>

His overall, his mindset, going into a game, and just how he plays. We’re both 6’6” I think, we both use our bodies well; big guards, can see over a lot of people. Just winners, and just want to win, basically.</em>“</p>

<p>Their father, former NBA star <strong>Carlos Boozer</strong>, is quite familiar with everything they’re about to experience. That’s why he shared some fatherly advice ahead of their collegiate journey.</p>
