Kyle Schwarber is showing no mercy at the plate, hitting home run after home run in what’s been a standout year for him, thanks to the offensive power that has greatly benefited the Philadelphia Phillies.

Beyond the home runs, Schwarber has had the chance to cement his name in Phillies history. With this being his final season under contract with the team, every move he makes holds even greater value for a potential contract extension with the club.

So far this season, Schwarber has a surprising 42 home runs, though he doesn’t currently lead that category among all MLB players. The leaderboard is currently topped by Cal Raleigh with 45 home runs.

It’s worth noting that Schwarber holds multiple home run-related records, both in the regular season and the postseason. He had already surpassed Jimmy Rollins in 2022 with 31 home runs from the leadoff spot, holding the highest number of home runs in that batting order position.

How many home runs does Schwarber have with the Phillies?

From 2022 to 2025, Schwarber has a total of 173 home runs with the club. His single-season high was 47 in 2023, a number he could surpass this year if he manages to hit seven more moonshots.
