When it comes to social media, Kyle Kuzma is one of the most picked-up athletes in the world. Most NBA fans don’t seem to like him, and there aren’t many Los Angeles Lakers fans that support him either.

Kuzma showed flashes of great play during his rookie year and has vastly regressed ever since. He’s made strides as a defender but is vastly inconsistent as a scorer, but that’s not why fans don’t roll with him.

The biggest issue with Kuzma seems to be his big mouth, as he’s often talking a big game and rarely backs it up on the court. If anything, most people think that he got a bit of a free ride to anNBA Championship, yet he talks like a Hall of Famer.

Kyle Kuzma Calls Out Frank Vogel, Gets Clowned On Twitter

That’s why it wasn’t a surprise to see the young forward state that he could average over 25 points per game and be an All-Star somewhere else, seemingly taking a shot at coach Frank Vogel:

"My biggest thing is I just want to play within a consistent role," the forward said. "If I have that ability, I'll be able to showcase what I can really do. There were parts of this year—and even anywhere else in my career—when I'm in a consistent space, I'm out there handling the ball, making teammates better, scoring, shooting, defending, rebounding. I think if I'm in that space, I'll be good."

While you gotta love the confidence – which has always been a huge part of Kuzma’s persona – you’d wonder whether calling your coach out in the middle of the offseason is the smartest move. Then again. Kuzma hasn’t been the one who minces – or thinks out – his words before talking.

Needless to say, his comments prompted plenty of reactions around social media, and we gathered some of the funniest memes and reactions regarding Kuzma’s desire to have a more consistent role.

Truth be told, Kuzma would’ve got more playing time if he made the most of the minutes he gets right now. He was supposed to be the team’s third scoring option, and he’s failed to prove that he can deal with that responsibility.
