The Los Angeles Lakers traveled to the desert to face the Phoenix Suns in a must-win game for both teams. The series was tied at 2, and they expected LeBron James to have one of the best games of his career to lead them without Anthony Davis.
Oddsmakers thought that this would be a close game as well. The Suns were favored by 4.5 points and there was a lot of money backing up the purple-and-gold to win the game straight up. Once again, they underestimated Phoenix despite winning 51 games throughout the season.
