During his recent media appearance at the Children’s Cancer Fund Gala, Prescott addressed the matter, offering some advice to Parsons: he encouraged him to ‘stay positive’ as contract talks with the front office continue.
“I don’t have the full answer for it, or I think all of mine would’ve been done a lot earlier than they were,” the talented QB said, per the team’s official website. “For him, just stay positive. Understand and make sure that his team knows what he wants and what he believes.”

That’s why he reiterated the importance of reaching a deal in the near future, ensuring that Parsons need to be available to Brian Schottenheimer from Week 1 onward.
