Deshaun Watson has been all over the news and on everybody's mouths around the NFL but not for the best reasons. The Houston Texansquarterback is facing nearly two dozen civil lawsuits for sexual misconduct.

That happened just a couple of weeks after he expressed his desire to be traded. Needless to say, the uncertainty regarding his future halted all negotiations, or at least that's what made most teams be cautious about making a big move for him.

But, even despite him not playing at all thus far this season -- and not being likely to play throughout the whole year, it seems like the Miami Dolphins are still looking forward to making a run at him.

NFL News: Texans Starting To Consider Lesser Offers For Deshaun Watson

"ICYMI! On Sunday I shared that the Texans stance on trading Deshaun Watson has softened where they weren’t even returning calls from teams in camp. That has changed. As for teams, to me Miami makes the most sense and probably has the best chance to pull it off IF a deal gets done," reported Jay Glazer.

“They weren’t open to trade talks unless somebody was going to give them a ridiculous trade offer. More than six draft picks. They’ve already been offered three one’s and three three’s,” Glazer added. “Wanted more than that. However I was told that this past week, their stance started to soften a little bit with that.”

The Dolphins have been keeping tabs on Watson over the past couple of months as they're still not sure about Tua Tagovailoa being a franchise quarterback. Then again, the Texans' steep asking price drove them away.

So, if Houston really consider a lesser offer for their disgruntled superstar, expect Brian Flores' team to be quite aggressive in their pursuit of him. Even if his legal turmoil is far from finished right now.
