There’s no doubt that last season’s NFL champions achieved something remarkable, but the hunger to do it again is stronger than ever. Jalen Hurts will once again be at the helm, leading a team determined to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the second straight year.
Dallas Goedert has been one of Hurts’ primary weapons with the Eagles in recent years — and even more so during their latest Super Bowl triumph under head coach Nick Sirianni. The tight end knows they have the talent to go back-to-back, and the team is ready to go all in.
In recent comments to the media, the former South Dakota State Jackrabbits standout expressed his happiness to be part of the Philadelphia organization. He and his teammates are determined to reestablish themselves as contenders starting in Week 1.
“Yeah, so when I got drafted a year after they won the Super Bowl, I was able to experience the fun parts of a Super Bowl the year after winning the Super Bowl. After we won and the opportunity to run it back again to see the banner drop, it just wouldn’t have felt — it would have felt I was missing on a lot not being there to see all that stuff,” Goedert said on ESPN’s NFL Live.

Jalen Hurts #1 of the Philadelphia Eagles reacts after a rushing touchdown with teammate Dallas Goedert #88 during the first quarter against the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field on December 25, 2023 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“I got a lot of love for the city of Philadelphia, the ownership all the way to the cooks in the building. I got a great relationship with all of them. So, I figured for me it was best to work out a deal, so I could stay there and be with the people I find that are important and try to win another one.“

New OC era begins for the Eagles
Kellen Moore’s departure to become the new head coach of the New Orleans Saints forced the Eagles to act quickly in finding a replacement. Their choice was Kevin Patullo, the former passing game coordinator, who has been warmly welcomed by Dallas Goedert and the rest of the team.
“I’m really excited for Kevin,” Goedert said. “He’s been with us since Sirianni got here. He’s waited his turn to get this opportunity and throughout OTAs, I’ve really loved what he’s doing with the offense. Little changes here and there, and I’m really excited for the opportunity to just — the connection I grew with him the last four years. What he sees in me in different ways that he’s going to get me the ball and I’m really excited.”
With this new direction, the Eagles are dreaming of solidifying their status as true contenders in the NFL — and, why not, bringing another championship back to the franchise.
