Fields is in his first year as a professional in the NFL, but he’s not a starter yet, the learning phase is just beginning. He was dominant during college football, but that time has passed, although it is worth mentioning that his statistics were impressive.

The Georgia Bulldogs was the first team where Justin Fields played college football as a quarterback in 2018, that team is part of the SEC. He was the second quarterback on the team as Jake Fromm was the starter. Field threw a total of 27 completed passes for 69.2%, 328 yards and 4 touchdowns with no interceptions.

After just one year in Georgia, he decided to move to Ohio State to start with the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Conference in 2019. His first year as a starter Fields left a mark of 238/354 passes completed, 3273 yards and 41 touchdowns with only 3 interceptions.

In his final year as a college quarterback, Fields played in the covid-short 2020 season in the College Football Playoff against Clemson, they won but then lost the National Championship against Alabama.

Kennesaw, a small town in Cobb County in the state of Georgia, is the birthplace of Justin Fields. He was born on March 5, 1999, Fields is 22 years old and 203 days old. He studied at a local school in his hometown called Harrison High School, he is on the list of the 8 notable students of the school along with others who are also athletes.

In High School he was already a star, in two playing years he left incredible numbers in the school as a starting quarterback with 4187 yards, 41 touchdowns, 2096 rushing yards with 28 rushing touchdowns. Besides football, he also played baseball in high school.

Gina Tobey is the mother of Justin Fields, she is a 52-year-old young woman with extensive experience of more than 10 years as a project manager for the international fuel cards company Fleetcor. She graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 1992.

Ivant Fields is the father of Justin Fields, his father played as linebacker with the Eastern Kentucky Colonels. Ivant Fields not only took care of Justin during his development as a football player, but he also does the same with Justin’s three sisters who are athletes like him.

During the 2021 NFL DRAFT, Justin Fields was selected in Round 1 as Pick #11 by the Chicago Bears. Before him other college quarterbacks were selected in the same Round 1: Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson and Trey Lance.

Justin Fields signed a 4-year contract for $18,871,957 with $11,085,060 signing bonus, all the money in the contract is guaranteed. Fields will receive an annual salary of $4,717,989. The contract is valid until 2026.
