The Cleveland Browns have decided to keep four quarterbacks on their roster for the start of the 2025 season. According to a report from Mike Garafolo, Shedeur Sanders has his spot secured.

“The Cleveland Browns will play three quarterbacks today. Expect them to keep four on the final roster unless somebody comes in and blows them away with a trade offer.”

That means that, in addition to Sanders, the Browns will keep Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Kenny Pickett in the quarterback room. The most surprising case is Pickett, since despite not seeing action due to injury in preseason, the former Pittsburgh Steelers player will make the cut.

“Honestly, it’s not much of a decision for us. All four guys have done what we’ve asked. We have a room that we like all the guys in there. We don’t really see that as a problem. We more see it as an opportunity.”
